CODE WURKS was founded by Carlos Rayon ( DocKode ). Our debute program was Budgets v.01. We originally programmed only for the TI-83 Plus, but now we are programming for the TI-89 as well. We started work in 1999, and we started slowly... very slowly. But we hope to sign on new members to the team so we can start producing more programs.
The following is a document concerning rules for possible future members of the team:
We have a few rules for programmers who want to join. They cannot belong to another TI-XX programming group (There are some exceptions, so e-mail me.). If they have a webpage related to TI-XX then we need to know so we can post a link. They must have released one program atleast, and we have to see it. They need to own a TI-XX, we do need our programmers to test programs. All their newest programs will be released under the CODE WURKS name, and CODE WURKS holds the right to keep those programs, they cannot be rereleased by the programmer under a new group or name unless modified to a new and completely different look and feel (A programmers older programs are still theirs to modifiy and release because they are not released under the CODE WURKS name and are not posted on this site).
We will also have positions available for those who write tutorials, and documents, help files and the like. All their newest works will be released under the CODE WURKS name, and CODE WURKS holds the right to keep those works, they cannot be rereleased by the writter under a new group or name.(A writters older works are still theirs to modifiy and release because they are not released under the CODE WURKS name and are not posted on this site)
We may have a few Beta Testers. These people will recieve free prerelease copies of certain programs from CODE WURKS for testing purposes. Testers will not be allowed to release the programs to the public without notification from CODE WURKS. Testers will not be allowed to modifiy code or change the program in any way.
Lastly, and this is a big MAYBE. We may have some people who's only job is to take screenshots of our programs or make program animations. CODE WURKS will have the right to distribute these graphics as CODE WURKS sees fit. The graphics may not be released by the screenshot team unless other wise specified by CODE WURKS.
Any works produced for CODE WURKS are property of CODE WURKS. Members of CODE WURKS may post programms, written works, and graphics from the site on their page as long as they give credit to CODE WURKS and do not claim it as theirs alone. If a work produced by CODE WURKS is discovered on a site belonging to any member of CODE WURKS that doesn't have permission to distribute or use it, the member will be warned to remove it, if the work is not removed then the member will be dropped from the CODE WURKS team.
